Christmas at The Cottage: Trees of Light Charity Event
The holiday season is a time for giving, gathering, and creating memories—and at The Cottage, we’re bringing the community together for a cause that truly shines. Join us for our annual “Trees of Light” Charity Event, happening Thanksgiving weekend at The Cottage Events & Photography!
✨ What It’s All About
The Trees of Light event is a festive community tradition where local families, businesses, and organizations donate beautifully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, each dedicated to a charity of their choice. During the event, guests can stroll through our cozy venue filled with twinkling lights, holiday music, and the warmth of giving.
Every tree and wreath is auctioned off, and 100% of the proceeds go directly to the local charities selected by the donors. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season while making a meaningful difference right here in our community.
☕ Enjoy a Cup of Cheer
When you come to see the trees, you’ll be greeted with a free cup of hot chocolate, brought to you by our friends at Coastal Pour. Sip something warm and sweet as you wander through the beautifully decorated trees and take in the sights and sounds of the season.
Don’t forget to vote for your favorite trees! Every vote helps recognize the creativity and heart behind each display, and we’ll be announcing a “Community Favorite” at the end of the event.
🛍️ Shop Local & Support Small Businesses
While you’re here, take some time to browse our wonderful local vendors! You’ll find unique handmade gifts, holiday décor, treats, and more—perfect for getting a head start on your Christmas shopping while supporting small businesses in our community.
